As Communications Officer for the City of Long Beach, California, Brandon introduced the city’s first strategic communications plan in over a decade. Grounded in extensive feedback from residents, businesses, and city employees, the plan strengthened public trust by prioritizing transparency and advancing initiatives focused on homelessness, community empowerment, and civic engagement.
At Pacific6 Enterprises, a $150 million business and investment partnership, Brandon shaped policy, operations, and financial strategies across healthcare, real estate, environmental initiatives, and journalism. He led cross-functional teams of 20+ members and delivered sustainable outcomes through a collaborative, detail-oriented approach. Brandon also established Pacific6’s inaugural communications department, crafting strategies that elevated stakeholder engagement and strengthened the organization’s reputation.
In the healthcare sector, Brandon’s leadership at Molina Healthcare drove multi-state employee engagement campaigns, boosted satisfaction scores, and advanced federal policy advocacy. His digital transformation work includes spearheading the award-winning redesign of LACounty.gov, which earned the prestigious “Best of the Web” distinction.
